
Market VectorsTM Indonesia (MVINDO)
The Market VectorsTM Indonesia Index is a rules-based index intended to give investors a means of tracking the overall performance of companies that are domiciled and primarily listed in Indonesia, or that generate at least 50% of their revenues in Indonesia.
MVINDO targets a coverage of 90% of the free-float market capitalisation of the investable universe with at least 25 companies; however, MVINDO will not include more than 75 companies.
To be eligible for inclusion in the index, constituent stocks must have a market capitalization of greater than US$150 million, a minimum 3-month average-daily-trading volume of at least US$1 million and a minimum 6-month monthly trading volume of 250,000 shares.
MVINDO is a free-float market capitalisation weighted index. The weight of every individual component is limited to a maximum of 8 %.
The Market VectorTM Indonesia index is reviewed quarterly and changes are implemented on the third Friday of every quarter-end month (i.e. March, June, September and December).
